It has always been Jared’s dream to own his own business. I remember very early on in our relationship, he asked me what I wanted to do with my life. I fumbled through answers like, “I have a goal to complete my bachelor’s degree”, and, “I want to have a successful job”. I realized I was almost embarrassed that I didn’t have more specific answers - but it was because I truly didn’t know what it was that I wanted to do. When I asked Jared the same thing, he immediately said he wanted to own his own business and be an entrepreneur - but again, he struggled with the same things that I did - the details were fuzzy for both of us.
As I think back on our conversations about life and the future, I realize what a unique product we have created. Not only can this platform help us now as we build our business and learn to be entrepreneurs, but I see how helpful a tool like DevvelopU would have been at that earlier stage in our lives as well.
DevvelopU is a personal and professional development platform for everyone. It is a tool that can be used in many different ways - whether you are someone who is seeking answers about your own future, or an entrepreneur who is wanting a structured approach to developing your brand. The platform incorporates goal setting and tracking, but it focuses on the accountability piece that many of us struggle with. Its features allow you to set routines, visually see your progress, and analyze your barriers to completion. Along with that, the community you can build incorporates a network for sharing ideas, seeking feedback, and giving or receiving motivation when you need an extra “push”.
Our hope for DevvelopU is that it solves a problem that many of us face - simply not knowing where to start. The features will hopefully help others find what they want to do, learn how to hold themselves accountable, and support them as they work to be the best version of themselves.
We encourage anyone interested in personal and professional development to download the app and give it a try. If you do, please reach out and let us know what you think - we want your feedback!
All the best,
